Willow and I are currently “summering” in Kingston, which sounds super fancy but really, it was just the stars aligning in a way that meant spending time in my favourite home away from home. Since we’re here for the summer months, we’re making it our mission to try out as many of the local restaurants as possible.
While Jack Astor’s isn’t really “local”, it does have something amazing to offer the City of Kingston and that is an amazing rooftop patio. I’d argue that it’s the best in the city (maybe even the only rooftop patio in the city… ha!)
This week, I took Willow there for dinner and we feasted on guacamole, fajitas and burgers and we washed it down with red sangria and apple juice (I’ll let you guess which one was for me…) It was an incredible night weather-wise and the patio was just what the doctor ordered.
